Sawyer Crane is an artist and educator specializing in watercolor and design. She holds a Master of Art Education from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Art Education from West Texas A&M University. With more than a decade of art teaching experience, Sawyer is passionate about creating inclusive and accessible learning environments where students can explore both technique and creative expression. Her personal artistic practice centers on botanical illustration and themes of femininity, drawing inspiration from the natural world to explore strength, resilience, and beauty. At South Plains College, she teaches studio courses that encourage experimentation, thoughtful craftsmanship, and critical engagement with art.
